About Us
TMJ Financial Partners is owned by Tiaan and Melise Joubert.
Tiaan and Melise completed their training contracts at the end of 2014 with EY, one of the Big 4. Very passionate and loyal to the firm they decided to pursue a career with EY and gained extensive experience in the Mining & Metals, Manufacturing, Consumer Products & Retail sectors, as well as the Public sector.
During their 8 years with EY they worked on a wide range of large listed, dual listed and multinational companies. Tiaan and Melise were fortunate enough to join EY offices in the Netherlands and England for a short-term work rotation. Tiaan and Melise consider themselves blessed for the incredible journey with EY.
Tiaan and Melise received an opportunity mid-2018 at Mutanda Mining S.A.R.L, a Glencore company, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (‘DRC’). They both filled senior financial roles within the company and to work as an expatriate in the DRC was without a doubt a life-changing experience.
They returned to South Africa in 2020 and started TMJ Financial Partners which they lead with personal humility and professional will. TMJ Financial Partners is a rigorous, remote accounting, taxation, advisory and consulting company.
The vision of TMJ Financial Partners is to work closely with clients across South Africa to build existing businesses, create new business opportunities and contribute to lasting success for all their clients.
